Documentaries »

Documentaries with LGBT themes, people, and/or situations. I love me some documentary watching! Give me a documentary over a fictional movie any day. Especially if it’s from a British historian or PBS. Nobody can make a documentary quite like PBS and nobody can give the truthful scoop on their own crazy history like British historians can. They tell you straight up in their documentaries, “This is how our country fucked up.” Gotta love those British historians. Or at least geeky history buff me does. I guess not a lot of people get excited when Netflix gets new documentaries from British historians. You’re missing out, people! You are missing out. You can’t repeat history if you already know it and apparently I won’t be repeating any British history anytime soon because I’ve been on a British history documentary kick for the last several years now thanks to Netflix and all of their lovely documentary watching options. If I could marry British historians David Reynolds or David Starkey, I would. But only for their brains. Not for their bodies. I am a lesbian after all. ;)
